Paris Tea Room: 1986

flourescent, daylight, aluminum, plywood; 12' x 18' x 10'
An aluminum cast of a bell rope from a Zen monastery in Japan was mounted in a field of light created by florescent. Beside it a smaller field of light held the saw that was used to created the room. As the sun moved across the exterior window behind the room at noon, the image of the window traveled across the rope casting. The bell had served to announce the time of the day.
